Jaisalmer, also known as the golden city is situated in the Indian state of Rajasthan. The fairs and festivals of Rajasthan display the rich Rajasthani culture. Every year, this festival comes between the ends of January to beginning of February. The Desert festival Jaisalmer 2013 is going to held for three days from February 23 to 25. It will take place at golden Sam’s sand dunes, which is just 40 kms far away from Jaisalmer city.  Desert festival is all about camel races, puppeteers, jugglers, and turban tying competitions, Camel Polo, colorful traditional dresses and many more.
