“Colors of Rajasthan” an exhibition displaying various beautiful Rajasthani Attires, will be organized by Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry & Rajasthan State at India Islamic Cultural Centre (IICC), 87/88, Lodhi Estate, New Delhi. This exhibition is going to be held for five days from 13 to 17 March, 2013, from 10 am to 8 pm, and the Entry is Free.
Rajasthani handloom and handicraft industry occupies a special place amongst industries in the country and creates a wide range of products based on the diversified culture, traditions and heritage of India. Some of the best features of this industry are skilled labor in cheap rate, low capital investment, flexible production, etc.
The exhibition is truly a direct seller and buyer meeting point, where both get benefits, the seller gets the best price for his products, while the buyer benefits by buying it at an optimal price. In this outstanding exhibition, most of the exhibitors are Muslim women, who weaves cloth and this exhibition has been organized to boost them. The main objective of this exhibition is to open new doors for artisans/ weavers by creating innovative products and developing fresh marketing channels.
In this colourful exhibition cum buyer seller meet, more than 30 artisans from Rajasthan will be exhibiting their unique products, and the range of the product displayed from Zari Sarees, Zari Dupattas, Dress Material, Self Designed Dress, Dyed Yawn, Materials, Cotton Khes, Sanganeri and Barmari prints, Designer Bed Covers and of course Kota Doria are the most attractive and unique features of this outstanding exhibition. More than 100 Wholesale buyers are expected to communicate with Artisans/weavers directly each day.
